Rural Development Loan and Led Paint?
I am looking to buy a house that was built in 1960, the outside has a little paint peeling in places. My loan officer is telling you that I might have to peel, then repaint the house to pass the inspection of Rural Development, B4 even buy or own the place. I think it's kind of risk and I was wondering if anyone has experienced these issues with respect to RD painting.
Do not eat the paint. I think that has been painted in the last 40 years, although there is a problem.
