I want to ask for an advance?
I just had to pay a $250 unexpected car repair bill, and now am short on cash. I want to ask for a $250 paycheck advance but am embarassed. How would I go about doing this? Is there anywhere else that I could get a small advance like that online thats ligit? If I do it online how fast can I get it? If I do it through work, how does it work, do they just take it out of my next paycheck?
Getting an advance is definitely cheaper than other options. As for asking it depends on your work environment and how you stand with your bass, how long you have been employed there etc. I sometimes give advances to employees, and take it off over a few pay periods, but 250.00 is not very much maybe you could ask to take it off over two pay periods. If it embarrasses you to much maybe it is not worth it
